This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Act as the main contact for incoming calls and after-hours HHA and PDN cases.
• Handle, assess, and direct high-volume calls pertaining to staffing, attendance, patient requirements, caregiver issues, and agency services.
• Oversee and confirm caregiver attendance for scheduled HHA and PDN cases.
• Address caregiver call-outs, missed visits, and attendance-related concerns.
• Organize caregiver and nursing coverage for open cases and instances of missed visits.
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and staff regarding changes in scheduling, attendance problems, and urgent updates on cases.
• Record calls, messages, incidents, attendance updates, and case-related details in HHA Exchange and other agency systems.
• Utilize software systems, internal directories, and communication platforms to resolve or direct inquiries appropriately.
• Elevate urgent clinical, patient, staffing, or operational issues to supervisors or management.
• Keep after-hours call logs and documentation in accordance with agency policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Provide details about agency services, operating hours, and points of contact.
• Monitor call queues and ensure timely responses to calls and messages.
• Uphold professionalism, patience, and confidentiality while managing sensitive or urgent calls.
• Adhere to assigned schedules, agency protocols, and communication guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a U.S. healthcare or home care setting.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software systems concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Capacity to prioritize various tasks and maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to work autonomously and remain productive in a fully remote work environment.
• Competence in handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
• Must possess a reliable Windows computer suitable for remote work.
• Must have consistent and dependable internet connectivity.
• Reliable, high-speed internet access required.
• A quiet and professional workspace is essential.
• Must be consistently available for the assigned Monday–Saturday schedule.
• Flexibility to provide additional morning and holiday coverage as required.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Unpaid break of 45 minutes each scheduled day.
• Additional flexibility for morning coverage between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM as needed.
• Availability for holiday work as required.
