
Bilingual Patient Scheduling Coordinator – Cardiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.
• Review upcoming schedules and perform outbound calls to confirm appointments.
• Handle rescheduling and cancellations effectively.
• Update patient records in Epic and document all patient interactions.
• Forward urgent patient issues to the clinical team for immediate attention.
• Identify, track, and reach out to overdue, cancelled, and no-show patients who need follow-up appointments.
• Conduct multi-channel outreach attempts and keep detailed follow-up lists in Epic.
• Continue efforts until appointments are confirmed or records are closed appropriately.
• Manage incoming phone lines as required.
• Schedule and reschedule patient visits as necessary.
• Address routine appointment inquiries and resolve them efficiently.
• Direct clinical messages to the appropriate parties.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all interactions within the EMR.
• Proficiency in English.
• Practical experience with Epic EHR and workflows specific to Cardiology practices.
• Direct experience in communication with older patient demographics.
• Experience in patient reactivation, high-volume scheduling, or as a medical receptionist.
• This is a full-time contractor role requiring 40 hours per week.
• Availability is needed Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
