Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated patient reimbursement projects and cases for the NavieGo division.

• Serve as the main contact for assigned healthcare providers.

• Manage and coordinate all necessary actions to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.

• Liaise with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions.

• Organize documents, submissions, and associated paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clinics.

• Manage the necessary pharmacy processes once funding is secured.

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.

• Collaborate with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist on overall patient case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and French is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer/client service is required.

• Previous experience in a reimbursement role is highly advantageous.

• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is beneficial.

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone etiquette.

• Capability to organize time, prioritize tasks, and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Competence to work independently as well as within a team setting.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve issues.

• Creative problem-solving mindset.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
