Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated patient reimbursement initiatives and cases for the NavieGo division.

• Serve as the main contact for designated healthcare providers.

• Organize and manage all elements involved in securing prescription drug coverage for patients.

• Facilitate cases with insurance providers, medical offices, and healthcare professionals to enhance reimbursement outcomes.

• Manage documents, submissions, and necessary paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clinics.

• Oversee the essential pharmacy processes once funding has been secured.

• Develop a thorough understanding of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.

• Collaborate with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist on comprehensive patient case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.

• Previous experience in a reimbursement role is highly advantageous.

• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer or client service is required.

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills.

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and multitask to meet competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in resolving issues effectively and efficiently.

• Innovative and creative problem-solving approach.

• Availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 8 PM EST.
