Bilingual Nurse Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee patient reimbursement and coordination cases assigned to the NavieGo branch.

• Act as the primary contact for designated healthcare providers.

• Guide the complete patient journey and facilitate communication among all parties involved.

• Manage and coordinate applications for prescription drug coverage.

• Complete and submit necessary documentation to insurance companies and public funding programs.

• Liaise with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals.

• Organize clinic appointments and drug deliveries within specified timelines.

• Provide support and guidance to patients and healthcare providers throughout the reimbursement process.

• Establish and nurture relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Implement best practices to enhance patient access to drug coverage.

• Oversee pharmacy processes once funding is secured.

• Utilize knowledge of public and private funding systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize reimbursement processes and boost efficiency.

• Improve patient experience and satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

• Must be a qualified Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Practical Nurse with a valid provincial license.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement.

• Previous experience in oncology is preferred.

• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is an asset.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.

• Strong proficiency in English is required.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive information.

• High proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.

• Availability to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 8 PM.

• Capable of organizing schedules, prioritizing tasks, multitasking, meeting competing deadlines, working independently and as part of a team, solving problems, and thinking critically.
