Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated patient reimbursement projects and cases within the NavieGo branch.

• Serve as the main point of contact for designated healthcare providers.

• Manage and coordinate all necessary steps to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.

• Liaise with insurance companies, physicians’ offices, and healthcare professionals to optimize reimbursement solutions.

• Organize documents, submissions, and relevant paperwork for insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clinics.

• Handle pharmacy processes following the acquisition of funding.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist on overall patient case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual ability in English and French is mandatory.

• Previous experience in a reimbursement role is highly advantageous.

• Background in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is beneficial.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer/client service is required.

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel.

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to organize time, prioritize tasks, and multitask to meet competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in resolving issues effectively and efficiently.

• Creative and innovative thinking approach.

• Availability to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering the hours from 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
