Bilingual Nurse Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned patient reimbursement and coordination cases for the NavieGo division

• Facilitate the entire patient experience and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders

• Act as the primary point of contact for designated healthcare providers

• Manage prescription drug coverage and reimbursement procedures

• Complete and submit necessary documentation to insurance providers and public funding programs

• Collaborate with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals

• Organize clinic appointments and medication deliveries within established timelines

• Assist and guide patients and healthcare providers throughout the reimbursement journey

• Foster trusted relationships with patients and healthcare professionals

• Implement best practices to enhance patient access to drug coverage

• Oversee pharmacy processes once funding is secured

• Utilize knowledge of public and private funding systems

• Work with internal teams to optimize reimbursement processes and boost efficiency

• Improve patient experience and satisfaction

• Perform additional duties as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience

• Licensed as a Qualified Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Practical Nurse

• At least 2 years of experience in customer/client service and healthcare reimbursement

• Previous experience in oncology is preferred

• Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or the insurance industry is advantageous

• Bilingual in French and English is mandatory

• Proficiency in English is required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when managing sensitive information

• Strong skills in Microsoft and Google applications, including Google Apps, Word, and Excel

• Willingness to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, between 8 AM and 8 PM

• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in telephone communications

• Capable of organizing schedules, prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and meeting competing deadlines

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
