This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Respond to client inquiries through phone, video calls, or chat.

• Evaluate client requirements and guide them to the appropriate services.

• Offer immediate assistance to clients in distress or crisis situations.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to ascertain eligibility for short-term counseling or referrals to internal services.

• Provide individual counseling sessions and engage in crisis management as necessary.

• Carry out complete risk assessments and decide on the implementation of safety plans.

• Handle high-risk scenarios related to suicide risk, self-harm, child protection, and substance abuse issues.

• Collaborate closely with individuals who are at risk.

• Interact with clients in an empathetic, ethical, and professional manner while ensuring confidentiality is upheld.

• Keep clear and concise clinical records utilizing the internal platform.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Canada.

• Master's degree in mental health or a related area.

• Fully bilingual and fluent in both French and English, in spoken and written form.

• Comfortable using technology, including video conferencing, chat, and emails.

• Experience in crisis management, risk assessment, and risk management.

• Ability to maintain composure and control in stressful or uncertain situations.

• Strong clinical judgment with the capacity to swiftly evaluate situations, establish intervention goals, and assist clients using a brief, strength-based methodology.

• Possess empathy, effective listening skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

• Capable of delivering outstanding customer service, managing client expectations, and responding effectively to client needs.

• Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful, and receptive to feedback.

• Ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

• Advanced English proficiency required for candidates from Québec.
