Bilingual Medical Appointment Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reach out to assigned clients via phone, text, and email in both English and Spanish to arrange telemedicine visits and MRI appointments.

• Collaborate with providers and imaging centers to secure appointment slots that are convenient for the client.

• Dispatch appointment reminders and check in with clients on the day of their scheduled appointments.

• Follow up on any missed or canceled appointments and ensure prompt rescheduling.

• Verify that appointments were completed and document the outcomes in FileVine.

• Relay status updates and transitions to the Client Representative and Case Management teams.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely notes for every client interaction.

• Approach sensitive conversations with understanding and empathy.

• Schedule and manage clients’ telemedicine visits and MRI appointments.

• Refrain from providing medical advice or engaging in other treatment activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is essential.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical field is required; this may include roles in scheduling, patient access, call centers, or customer service.

• Strong phone presence: warm, patient, and professional when dealing with anxious or frustrated callers.

• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-up abilities.

• Comfort with learning new software and managing a high volume of scheduling tasks.

• Ability to safeguard confidential client and health information.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

• Personal computer equipment is necessary.
