Bilingual Inside Service Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Address inquiries received via phone, email, chat, or fax from both internal and external clients.

• Furnish customers with product information and resolve any issues they may have.

• Assist, develop, and spearhead new initiatives utilizing functional expertise and knowledge of the company.

• Provide outstanding customer service, respond to inquiries, and advocate for Allstate home and auto insurance products.

• Evaluate current and future customer needs and recommend appropriate products.

• Offer personalized service as a trusted insurance advisor.

• Highlight product features and benefits during regular customer portfolio assessments.

• Oversee policy renewals and requests for modifications to insurance contracts.

• Respond to inquiries received through online email communications.

• Engage in upselling and cross-selling of auto and home insurance products following underwriting guidelines.

• Encourage customer retention during policy renewals and updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) license or be willing to acquire one in your province of residence.

• Have 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Availability to work some evenings, as well as Saturdays and Sundays, on a rotating schedule.

• Assets: experience in a call center environment.

• Assets: background in the insurance industry.

• Assets: experience in upselling and cross-selling.

• This position is open to residents of Quebec and Ontario outside the Greater Toronto Area, in accordance with the position’s location eligibility criteria.
