Bilingual Immigration Staff Attorney, English-Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a comprehensive caseload of immigration cases

• Engage directly with clients in sensitive situations

• Create individualized legal strategies tailored to each client

• Evaluate application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers

• Assess and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants

• Perform thorough initial reviews to pinpoint legal issues

• Represent clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS

• Act as “Attorney of the Day” and offer legal advice to the team

• Participate in operational meetings

• Take part in Consultation Day Events

• Work collaboratively with paralegals, support staff, and community partners to provide legal services and compassionate care

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active U.S. Bar license

• Over 2 years of attorney experience in reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with native or fluent proficiency

• Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and Immigration Case Management Systems (Camplegal)

• Possess a growth-oriented “can-do” attitude

• Commitment to continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail

• Ability to work 45 to 50 hours per week
