Bilingual Health Specialist, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive clinical inquiry responses, both verbally and in writing, to consumers, educators, and medical/health professionals.

• Offer medical subject matter expertise.

• Conduct advanced database searches.

• Create documents, reports, and correspondence.

• Record all incoming inquiries.

• Engage in special projects as necessary.

• Assist CDC INFO, the CDC’s national contact center, through phone, email, and chat.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Additional training or education in the specialization area may be necessary.

• Fluency in English and a specified secondary language is required.

• Strong skills in listening, communication, and internet research.

• Capability to adhere to established scripts and protocols.

• Proficiency in navigating approved resources.

• A computer equipped with a webcam and a headset with a microphone is required during training.

• Tablets, iPads, and Chromebooks are not allowed.

• An internet speed of 25 Mbps or higher is necessary; 50 Mbps is required for shared internet connectivity.

• Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps is essential.

• Hard-wired internet connectivity must be via a Category 5 or 6 ethernet cable.

• A private and secure workspace along with a sufficient power source is necessary.

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, or supported Mac operating systems are required.
