Bilingual Dental Front Desk, Patient Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as the main remote front-desk contact for patients.

• Professionally and warmly respond to incoming patient calls.

• Assess patient needs and provide suitable assistance.

• Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.

• Schedule patients directly into the practice's calendar using Dentrix.

• Implement dental scheduling workflows and prioritize emergency dental cases.

• Address emergency scheduling requirements, particularly on weekends.

• Conduct recall calls and perform outreach related to hygiene.

• Arrange and adjust hygiene appointments as necessary.

• Follow up with patients to ensure a full hygiene schedule.

• Re-engage patients who are due for care.

• Oversee and manage the practice's marketing and lead-tracking portal.

• Log and categorize the status of every incoming call.

• Analyze incoming call sources to evaluate marketing ROI.

• Supervise the remote patient check-in system and assist patients as needed.

• Aid patients in completing paperwork/check-in using the practice's iPads.

• Carry out front-office and administrative tasks during quieter periods.

• Assist with insurance verification and checks.

• Support prior authorization tasks as responsibilities grow.

• Help with additional scheduling, outbound calls, and administrative responsibilities.

• Potentially assist with marketing-related activities via the marketing portal.

• Possibly support the full-arch program, including appointment scheduling and initial patient interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a dental office is essential.

• Experience in a dental front-desk or reception role is required.

• Strong background in dental scheduling is necessary.

• Proven experience handling high-volume incoming dental calls.

• Familiarity with managing or triaging emergency dental calls.

• Experience in dental recall and hygiene scheduling.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A warm, friendly demeanor with a patient-focused approach.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Dependable and dedicated to a long-term role.

• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays when the practice is operational.

• Experience with Dentrix is preferred.

• Familiarity with marketing, lead-tracking, or call-source platforms is preferred.

• Previous remote work experience for a dental practice is advantageous.

• Experience with insurance verification or prior authorizations is preferred.

• General medical experience or general VA experience alone will not suffice.

• 40 hours per week.

• Thursday to Monday work schedule.

• Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required.

• Negotiable pay rate based on skill set and experience.
