This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Address customer inquiries and calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Accurately handle bookings and modifications to reservations.
• Support customers throughout the entire booking journey.
• Meet sales objectives and contribute to call center performance indicators.
• Recognize opportunities to promote products and services that fulfill customers' needs.
• Drive revenue towards overall goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Utilize active selling techniques to finalize sales.
• Keep up-to-date with products, services, promotions, procedures, and technology.
• Identify and resolve challenges effectively.
• Participate in ongoing improvements within the department.
• Sell comprehensive multi-destination packages and à la carte options.
• Follow up on files with suppliers and travel agents.
• Monitor payment processes.
• Create and track sales reports.
• Undertake other related tasks assigned by management.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both spoken and written).
• Exceptional communication abilities.
• A diploma in Travel/Tourism or equivalent experience in the travel industry.
• Up to one year of relevant on-the-job experience or similar responsibilities required.
• OPC/TICO certification is a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated professionalism and patience.
• Team-oriented, yet capable of working independently.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in managing stress while adhering to timelines.
• Excellent selling capabilities with a focus on results.
• General geographical knowledge.
• Familiarity with the travel industry.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, with the capacity to learn new software.
• Knowledge of Sabre is advantageous.
• Available for rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET.
