Bilingual Content Editor – English/French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, edit, and rewrite detailed content on a variety of subjects in both English and French.

• Identify and rectify errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax.

• Adjust tone and complexity according to the target audience and applicable style guides.

• Verify the accuracy of dates, names, statistics, and other relevant information.

• Enhance the structure and flow of the content.

• Grant final approval on the client copy assigned.

• Implement feedback received from clients and team members.

• Contribute to the enhancement of clients’ online visibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on AP style.

• Proven experience in writing and editing online content, including long-form guides, infographics, how-to articles, software/tool roundups, comparison posts, trend reports, and thought leadership materials.

• In-depth knowledge of specialized areas such as health, legal, finance, and/or technology.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.

• Strong interpersonal abilities for fostering effective remote working relationships.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace.

• 2–3 years of experience in creating and editing content for French- and English-speaking companies or brands.

• 2–3 years of experience in an editorial role at a digital publication, reputable news outlet, industry blog, or agency.

• Intermediate understanding of SEO and familiarity with SEO tools (preferred).

• Experience collaborating with design teams and providing advice on design and UX best practices (preferred).

• Portfolio showcasing samples written in both English and French.

• Submission of a resume and cover letter is required during the application process.
