Bilingual Collections Specialists – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established guidelines.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer conversations in a professional manner.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately record account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Aim for individual and team collections performance objectives.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the resume review, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proficient in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience in dealing with delinquent or past-due accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Fluent in English communication.

• Fluent in Spanish communication.

• Experience in working towards individual or team collections KPIs.

• Must have a Windows 11 PC (Mac is not supported).

• Minimum 16 GB of RAM required.

• i5 processor or higher is necessary.

• An additional monitor is required.

• Webcam is mandatory.

• Wired USB headset is essential.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is required.

• Backup power solution must be in place.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams/Office 365 is expected.

• Candidate must be permanently residing in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.
