Bilingual Collections Specialist, MEX, COL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage both inbound and outbound collection calls.

• Negotiate payment plans and address overdue accounts.

• Maintain regular follow-up communication with customers.

• Thoroughly document all interactions and updates related to accounts.

• Ensure adherence to FDCPA and collections regulations.

• Achieve and surpass individual and team performance objectives.

• Uphold professionalism and composure during difficult conversations.

• Complete the resume and prescreen questionnaire review, as well as the one-way video, live interview, and final interview processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in BPO collections is mandatory.

• Experience in third-party collections is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of FDCPA and collections compliance rules.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in Spanish communication.

• Strong abilities in negotiation and handling objections.

• Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting performance targets.

• Previous experience in remote or work-from-home settings is preferred.

• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must satisfy all specified technical requirements.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac not supported).

• 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.

• Dual monitors.

• Webcam.

• Headset with microphone.

• High-speed fibre internet with a wired connection.

• Backup power solution.

• Microsoft Teams / Office 365.
