Bilingual Collections Specialist, MEX, COL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional and effective manner

• Negotiate payment plans and address overdue accounts

• Maintain consistent follow-up communication with clients

• Accurately record all interactions and updates related to accounts

• Ensure compliance with FDCPA and relevant collections regulations

• Achieve and surpass both individual and team performance objectives

• Uphold professionalism and poise during difficult conversations

• Complete all phases of the hiring process: reviewing resumes and prescreen questionnaires, participating in a one-way video interview, attending a live interview, and undergoing a final interview

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in BPO collections is mandatory

• Experience in third-party collections is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of FDCPA and compliance regulations in collections

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient Spanish communication abilities

• Strong skills in negotiation and handling objections

• Goal-oriented mindset with the capacity to achieve performance benchmarks

• Previous experience working remotely or from home is preferred

• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia

• Must fulfill all technical specifications listed above

• Windows 11 PC (Mac is not supported)

• 16 GB RAM

• i5 processor or higher
