Bilingual Collections Specialist, MEX, COL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming and outgoing collection calls in a professional and effective manner.

• Negotiate payment plans and address overdue accounts.

• Maintain regular follow-up communication with clients.

• Document all interactions and updates related to accounts accurately.

• Ensure adherence to FDCPA and regulations related to collections.

• Achieve and surpass both individual and team performance objectives.

• Uphold professionalism and poise during difficult conversations.

• Complete all stages of the hiring process, including resume and prescreen questionnaire review, one-way video interview, live interview, and final interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in BPO collections is mandatory.

• Experience in third-party collections is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of FDCPA and compliance regulations in collections.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proficiency in Spanish communication.

• Strong skills in negotiation and handling objections.

• Goal-driven attitude with the capability to meet performance benchmarks.

• Previous experience working remotely or from home is preferred.

• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must fulfill all technical requirements listed below.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac is not supported).

• 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.

• Dual monitors.

• Webcam.

• Headset with microphone.

• Fibre internet with a wired connection.

• Backup power solution.

• Microsoft Teams / Office 365.
