Bilingual Collections Specialist, MEX, COL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound calls related to collections in a professional and effective manner

• Negotiate payment plans and address issues with overdue accounts

• Ensure regular follow-up communication with clients

• Precisely document all interactions and updates regarding accounts

• Adhere strictly to FDCPA and regulatory guidelines for collections

• Achieve and surpass individual and team performance objectives

• Maintain professionalism and calmness during difficult discussions

• Complete each phase of the hiring process: review resumes and prescreen questionnaires, conduct one-way video interviews, live interviews, and final interviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in BPO collections is mandatory

• Experience in third-party collections is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of FDCPA and compliance regulations related to collections

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in Spanish communication

• Strong skills in negotiation and handling objections

• Goal-oriented attitude with a track record of meeting performance goals

• Previous experience working remotely or from home is preferred

• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia

• Must fulfill all specified technical requirements

• Windows 11 PC (Mac systems are not supported)

• 16 GB RAM

• i5 processor or higher

• Dual monitors

• Webcam

• Headset with a microphone

• High-speed fibre internet with a wired connection

• Backup power solution

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365
