Bilingual Collections Specialist, English – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions in a professional manner.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with clients.

• Precisely record account interactions, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Aim for individual and team collections performance targets.

• Provide a professional customer experience while pursuing account resolution.

• Complete the recruitment process, which includes resume evaluation, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Background in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding debts.

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Fluent communication skills in English.

• Fluent communication skills in Spanish.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is an advantage.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac not supported).

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or better.

• Additional monitor required.

• Webcam needed.

• Wired USB headset is necessary.

• Stable, reliable wired Ethernet internet connection required.

• Backup power solution should be in place.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams / Office 365.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
