Bilingual Collections Specialist – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound calls for collections in a professional and efficient manner

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols

• Address objections and challenging customer interactions with professionalism

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with clients

• Document account interactions, payment agreements, and updates accurately

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account data

• Aim for individual and team performance targets in collections

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards resolving accounts

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections

• Experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls

• Proven experience with delinquent or overdue accounts

• Background in negotiating payment arrangements or settling outstanding balances

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations

• Fluent in English communication skills

• Fluent in Spanish communication skills

• Experience working towards individual or team collections KPIs

• Preferred experience in third-party collections

• Previous experience in remote or work-from-home settings is preferred

• Must be a permanent resident of Mexico or Colombia

• Required equipment and internet connection for reliable remote work

• Windows 11 PC (Mac systems are not supported)

• A minimum of 16 GB RAM

• i5 processor or higher
