Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound collection calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Carefully document account interactions, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Aim for individual and team collections performance objectives.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in handling inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience managing delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Proven ability to negotiate payment plans or settle outstanding balances.

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Proficient in English communication skills.

• Proficient in Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in meeting individual or team collections KPIs.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess a Windows 11 PC; Mac systems are not supported.

• Minimum 16 GB RAM is required.

• Must have an i5 processor or higher.

• Additional monitor is necessary.

• A webcam is required.

• Wired USB headset is essential.

• Must have a stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection.

• Backup power solution is necessary.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is required.

• Candidates must have the necessary equipment, internet connection, and workspace for dependable remote work.
