Bilingual Collections Specialist – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans following established guidelines.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer discussions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-ups with customers.

• Precisely document account interactions, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account data.

• Aim to achieve both individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while resolving accounts.

• Complete the resume review, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proficient in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or settling outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Fluent in English communication.

• Fluent in Spanish communication.

• Proven experience working towards individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is advantageous.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Equipped with the necessary hardware and internet connection for reliable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC required (Mac not supported).

• Minimum 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.

• Additional monitor.

• Stable, reliable wired Ethernet internet connection.
