Bilingual Collections Specialist – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Reach out to customers with delinquent accounts to work towards suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established guidelines.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging conversations with customers in a professional manner.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately record account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to relevant collections policies and compliance requirements.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Strive towards individual and team collections performance objectives.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the recruitment process, including resume evaluation, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Proven ability in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding debts.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proficient communication skills in Spanish.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is a plus.

• Must reside permanently in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC required; Mac systems are not supported.

• At least 16 GB RAM required.

• i5 processor or higher is necessary.

• Additional monitor is required.

• Webcam must be available.

• A wired USB headset is required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is a must.

• Backup power solution is necessary.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
