Bilingual Collections Specialist, English – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately document account interactions, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to collections policies and regulatory compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Aim to achieve individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the recruitment process, which includes reviewing resumes, pre-screen questionnaires, one-way video interviews, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Previous experience dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Ability to negotiate payment plans or resolve outstanding debts.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Windows 11 PC is required; Mac is not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher is necessary.

• An additional monitor is required.

• A webcam is necessary.

• A wired USB headset is required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is essential.

• Backup power solution is required.

• Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is mandatory.

• Must be permanently residing in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the required equipment, internet connection, and workspace for dependable remote work.

• Previous experience in third-party collections is preferred.

• Prior remote or work-from-home experience is preferred.
