Bilingual Collections Specialist – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers with delinquent accounts and strive towards suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established guidelines.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions in a professional manner.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately record interactions, payment arrangements, and updates on accounts.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account data.

• Aim for both individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Background in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in working towards individual or team collections KPIs.

• Must reside permanently in Mexico or Colombia.

• Required to have the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC; Mac devices are not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or better.

• Additional monitor required.

• Webcam needed.

• Wired USB headset required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection.

• Backup power solution necessary.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365.
