Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct inbound and outbound collections calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers with delinquent accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer conversations with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately record account interactions, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Aim for both individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the recruitment process, which includes resume evaluation, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience dealing with delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or settling outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in meeting individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is advantageous.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Windows 11 PC required; Mac is not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.

• Additional monitor required.

• Webcam needed.

• Wired USB headset required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection.

• Backup power solution necessary.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365.

• Required equipment, internet connection, and workspace for dependable remote work.
