Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage both inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Reach out to customers with overdue accounts and work towards suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans following established guidelines.

• Handle objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-ups with customers.

• Accurately record account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Strive to meet individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while pursuing account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Experience with delinquent or past-due accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment plans or resolving outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Fluent in English communication skills.

• Fluent in Spanish communication skills.

• Experience working toward individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preferred experience in third-party collections.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is an advantage.

• Must reside permanently in Mexico or Colombia.

• Required: Windows 11 PC; Mac is not supported.

• Minimum 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.

• Additional monitor.
