Bilingual Collections Specialist, English – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage both inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Reach out to customers with delinquent accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment terms in line with established guidelines.

• Professionally handle objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately document interactions with accounts, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information.

• Aim for both individual and team collections performance targets.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Proficient in managing delinquent or past-due accounts.

• Skilled in negotiating payment arrangements or settling outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Fluent communication skills in English.

• Fluent communication skills in Spanish.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preference for candidates with third-party collections experience.

• Previous experience working remotely or from home is advantageous.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Required to have a Windows 11 PC; Mac systems are not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM is necessary.

• An i5 processor or higher is required.

• Must have an additional monitor.

• A webcam is essential.

• A wired USB headset is required.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is necessary.

• A backup power solution must be in place.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is required.

• All necessary equipment, internet connection, and workspace for effective remote work must be provided.
