Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Reach out to customers regarding overdue accounts and strive for suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer conversations with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Accurately document account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates.

• Adhere to relevant collections policies and compliance regulations.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Aim to achieve personal and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the stages of resume review, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interview.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Familiarity with handling delinquent or past-due accounts.

• Experience in negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances.

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance standards.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Proficient Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Must have a Windows 11 PC; Mac is not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM required.

• i5 processor or better is necessary.

• Additional monitor is required.

• Webcam is needed.

• Wired USB headset is mandatory.

• Stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is essential.

• Backup power solution is required.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is necessary.

• Must reside permanently in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the necessary equipment, internet connection, and workspace for dependable remote work.

• Experience in third-party collections is preferred.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is preferred.
