Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Professionally and efficiently manage inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Reach out to customers about overdue accounts and strive for suitable solutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions with professionalism.

• Ensure consistent and appropriate follow-up with clients.

• Accurately record interactions, payment arrangements, and account updates.

• Adhere to all relevant collections policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account details.

• Aim to meet individual and team collections performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

• Complete the resume review, pre-screen questionnaire, one-way video interview, and live interviews as part of the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact center, or professional collections.

• Proven experience in managing inbound and outbound collections calls.

• Familiarity with handling delinquent or overdue accounts.

• Experience in negotiating payment plans or resolving outstanding debts.

• Understanding of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Fluent in English communication skills.

• Fluent in Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in achieving individual or team collections KPIs.

• Preference for candidates with third-party collections experience.

• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is a plus.

• Must be permanently based in Mexico or Colombia.

• Must possess the necessary equipment and internet connection for dependable remote work.

• Windows 11 PC (Mac is not supported).

• A minimum of 16 GB RAM.

• i5 processor or higher.
