Bilingual Collections Specialist, English & Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reach out to customers about overdue accounts and seek suitable resolutions.

• Negotiate payment plans in line with established protocols.

• Tactfully address objections, resistance, and challenging customer interactions.

• Ensure regular and appropriate follow-up with customers.

• Precisely document interactions with accounts, payment agreements, and updates.

• Adhere to relevant collection policies and compliance standards.

• Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account data.

• Strive to meet individual and team collection performance goals.

• Provide a professional customer experience while working towards account resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in BPO, contact centers, or professional collections.

• Proficient in managing inbound and outbound collection calls.

• Experience with delinquent or overdue accounts is necessary.

• Skilled in negotiating payment plans or addressing outstanding balances.

• Familiarity with FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance regulations.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Proficient in Spanish communication skills.

• Experience in meeting individual or team collection KPIs.

• Preference for candidates with third-party collections experience.

• Previous experience working remotely or from home is advantageous.

• Must reside permanently in Mexico or Colombia.

• Windows 11 PC required; Mac systems are not supported.

• Minimum of 16 GB RAM is necessary.

• Must have an i5 processor or better.

• Additional monitor required.

• A webcam is necessary.

• Wired USB headset is essential.

• A stable and reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is required.

• Backup power solution must be in place.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams / Office 365 is necessary.

• Must have the required equipment, internet connection, and workspace for dependable remote work.
