Bilingual Collection Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and assurance.

• Reach out to consumers regarding overdue medical balances.

• Negotiate payment plans that align with both consumer needs and company objectives.

• Achieve and surpass quality, compliance, and collections performance metrics.

• Keep accurate account notes and documentation in real-time.

• Foster trust through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.

• Navigate and overcome common and challenging objections.

• Recommend financial sources for settling debts.

• Utilize scripts/verbatims and collection systems within established guidelines to enhance recovery.

• Adhere to FDCPA, state, and other legal compliance regulations.

• Proficiently operate collection systems and programs.

• Complete virtual training that covers systems, compliance, call strategies, and negotiation fundamentals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, or North Carolina.

• Capable of working remotely full-time during a structured daily schedule with minimal distractions.

• Must have a dedicated home office space for exclusive use; no other individuals may be present during working hours.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills, proper grammar, and telephone etiquette are essential.

• Proficiency in using provided electronic tools.

• Ability to navigate multiple computer applications and databases effectively.

• Capacity to multitask while communicating via phone and navigating various systems simultaneously.

• Competence in overcoming objections and successfully negotiating payment plans.

• Dependable, responsible, punctual, and capable of productive time management.

• Strong professional judgment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive personal information and Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

• Self-motivated and dedicated to career advancement.

• Willingness and capability to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within a year of employment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) is required.

• Ability to successfully complete the company’s collector training program.

• Must pass initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.

• Availability to work a full-time schedule; secondary jobs or regular obligations during business hours are not compatible.
