This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take full ownership of the entire bid and RFP process from start to finish, ensuring implementation, maintenance, and enhancement after each bid.
• Facilitate coordination of all responses among Sales, executives, Clinical, Product, Technology, Security, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams.
• Conduct go/no-go evaluations with Sales, assessing fit, win probability, and capacity.
• Develop response strategies that include compliance matrices, designated section owners, internal deadlines, and review checkpoints.
• Craft and refine clear, compliant responses utilizing input from clinical, product, technical, and delivery teams.
• Manage the commercial and pricing sections, obtaining necessary approvals from Finance and the Chief Commercial Officer.
• Create and maintain a repository of approved answers, security and privacy questionnaires, references, case studies, and team CVs.
• Assess, suggest, and implement an RFP management platform.
• Oversee RFP intake and maintain a 12-month submission calendar while monitoring procurement portals.
• Ensure formatting, forms, compliance checks, and timely submissions are handled effectively.
• Assist with presentations, demonstrations, and rounds of clarification.
• Conduct lessons-learned reviews and track submissions, win rates, and cycle times.
• Establish bid/no-bid and RFP intake procedures, develop a DFD content library, and enhance response reuse and win rates.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bid or proposal management.
• Proven experience managing large, intricate public-sector RFPs from initiation to completion, involving numerous contributors and responses exceeding 100 pages.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities, producing clear, compliant, and persuasive responses based on technical and clinical input.
• Strong project management skills to effectively handle deadlines and contributors without any missed submissions.
• Familiarity with Canadian public procurement processes.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Nice to have: APMP certification.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of healthcare, virtual care, or pharmacy sectors.
• Nice to have: Experience with U.S. state or group purchasing organization (GPO) procurement.
• Nice to have: Experience with security and privacy questionnaires, including SOC 2, PHIPA, and HIPAA.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with proposal software such as Loopio or Responsive.
• Nice to have: Proficiency in French.
