This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in the administration and billing reconciliation of company benefit plans.
β’ Oversee, administer, and communicate details regarding employee medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401(k), and Employee Stock Purchase Plan benefits.
β’ Address employee inquiries related to benefits through email, phone, and in-person meetings within 24 hours.
β’ Enroll and terminate employees in company benefit programs.
β’ Conduct benefits training sessions for employees and management.
β’ Engage in benefits presentations during new-hire orientations.
β’ Organize benefits orientations and manage enrollment or termination processes for supported teams.
β’ Act as a liaison for plan vendors and third-party administrators concerning billing and compliance matters.
β’ Review and reconcile monthly billing invoices, document necessary adjustments, and process them for payment.
β’ Investigate discrepancies and manage non-standard situations.
β’ Record changes in benefits and payroll systems appropriately.
β’ Generate benefit reports by extracting information from the HCM system.
β’ Assist with employee claims and issues related to insurance providers.
β’ Keep benefits documentation updated in HR employee records.
β’ Assess and refine internal processes and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
β’ Maintain and update employee censuses on a monthly basis.
β’ Assist with open enrollment by organizing, generating reports, completing vendor uploads, and managing employee communications.
β’ Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding benefits and wellness.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of benefits experience is preferred.
β’ At least 3 years of experience with human resources systems such as Ultipro and ADP is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
β’ Capability to administer and reconcile employee benefit programs.
β’ Ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
β’ Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, managers, plan vendors, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers.
β’ Proficiency in preparing reports using a human capital management (HCM) system.
