This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and leave initiatives.
• Manage enrollments, modifications, terminations, and updates due to life events.
• Keep benefits information current in HRIS and vendor platforms.
• Address employee questions regarding benefits coverage, eligibility, claims, and policies.
• Support the preparation and communication of open enrollment activities.
• Reconcile benefit invoices and verify accurate payroll deductions.
• Collaborate with benefits vendors and internal payroll/HR teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and ERISA.
• Generate reports and conduct audits to verify data accuracy.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of employee information.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Understanding of pension accounts (defined benefit skills) is preferable.
• Exceptional organizational abilities are necessary.
• Strong time management skills are essential.
• Customer service-oriented attitude with effective, professional communication and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to pass an internet speed test: download ≥25 Mbps, upload ≥5 Mbps, ping ≤175 ms.
• Must connect via an ethernet cable to a modem/router.
• Previous experience in benefits administration or HR support is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of employee benefits programs and associated regulations.
• Excellent data entry and analytical capabilities.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Must reside in an eligible US state or municipality; currently, hiring is not available in AK, AZ, CA, CT, CO, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MO, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, OR, VT, WA, or specified metro areas.
