This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
β’ Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with research sites.
β’ Negotiate grant budgets for investigators, along with contractual terms and conditions within authorized limits.
β’ Ensure adherence to negotiation guidelines, approval authority, contractual protocols, client expectations, budgetary guidance, templates, and procedures.
β’ Identify and evaluate legal, financial, and operational risks, escalating issues as necessary.
β’ Offer recommendations and alternative solutions for investigator contract negotiations.
β’ Collaborate with internal functional departments to ensure site startup and contractual activities meet established timelines.
β’ Align contract negotiation efforts with the critical path for site activation.
β’ Meet target cycle times for site activations.
β’ Raise out-of-parameter issues through established channels.
β’ Engage with study sites and internal functional teams to foster effective relationships.
β’ Ensure quality, objectivity, and risk assessment in contract delivery.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
β’ 2β5 years of prior experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.
β’ Equivalency through a combination of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may fulfill role requirements.
β’ Strong understanding of contract law, including business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp laws.
β’ Ability to apply fundamental principles of investigator grant negotiation.
β’ General comprehension of business and financial principles related to service agreements.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
β’ Capacity to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary matters within established parameters, with appropriate oversight.
β’ Keen attention to detail.
β’ Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
β’ Familiarity with pharmaceutical product development and the role of CROs.
β’ Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
β’ Strong organizational and time management skills.
β’ Working knowledge of PPD SOP & WPDs.
β’ Proficient in managing competing priorities and reviewing contractual risks and issues.
β’ Ability to utilize automated systems and computer applications effectively.
β’ Customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
β’ Regular and consistent attendance is required.
β’ Capability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6β8 hours per day.
β’ Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and maintain frequent mobility.
β’ Capacity to occasionally crouch, stoop, bend, and twist.
β’ Ability to lift and carry 15β20 lbs.
β’ Proficient in accessing and using computer software.
β’ Ability to communicate, listen to, and comprehend information presented verbally.
β’ Ability to perform under stress and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
