This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with research sites.
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets, as well as contractual terms and conditions within established parameters.
• Ensure adherence to negotiation guidelines, authority approvals, contractual processes, client expectations, budgetary guidelines, templates, and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate legal, financial, and operational risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Offer recommendations and alternative solutions for Investigator Contracts negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to synchronize site startup and contractual activities with agreed timelines and critical paths for site activation.
• Meet target cycle times for site activations.
• Monitor and report on activities as necessary.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
• Engage in country process improvement initiatives and participate in country team meetings.
• Serve as the country subject matter expert for Investigator Contracts training materials.
• Coordinate with Global Site Contracts to ensure compliance with global procedures and corporate directives.
• Conduct periodic quality reviews and peer feedback assessments.
• Lead amendment/novation client projects and handle confidentiality agreement negotiations when applicable.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
• A combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may be deemed sufficient.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract law, including business law, intellectual property, and local tax and stamp laws.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language.
• Capability to negotiate investigator grant budgets within approved parameters.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical product development processes and the role of CROs.
• Capacity to work autonomously and within a team setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and assess contractual risks and issues.
• Competence in utilizing automated systems and computerized applications.
• Customer-centric communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to provide independent training and mentorship to staff.
• Ability to deliver constructive feedback to Investigator Analysts.
• Strong problem-solving and risk analysis capabilities.
• Proficiency in negotiating Investigator Contracts in the best interests of both the company and the client.
