Baseband L3 Software Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Engage in feasibility assessments, systemization, software architecture, implementation, and integration of Baseband (L3) software for eNodeB/RAN products.

• Create, develop, and sustain C++ software tailored for wireless communication systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams throughout the entire product development cycle, from prototype to commercial launch.

• Utilize knowledge of 3GPP, LTE, and RAN technologies in software design and development.

• Develop and enhance software for multi-core deployment settings.

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve intricate technical challenges during the phases of development, integration, and customer deployment.

• Engage in code reviews, debugging, testing, and software integration using a Git/Gerrit-based development approach.

• Work alongside system engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to guarantee product quality and timely delivery.

• Assist in the deployment and stabilization of products within customer networks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Wireless Communication, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of professional experience in C++ software development, ideally within the telecommunications/wireless sector.

• More than 2 years of experience in software design and development.

• Proficient programming skills in C++.

• Solid understanding of general programming concepts.

• Experience in multi-core software development/deployment or multi-threaded programming environments.

• Familiarity with Git/Gerrit-based development workflows.

• Good grasp of software development, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience in Telecommunications, Wireless Communication, or RAN products is a plus.

• Knowledge of 3GPP standards, especially LTE technologies, is a plus.

• Background in eNodeB, Baseband, RAN, or other wireless communication systems is a plus.

• Experience working in large-scale, international, or cross-functional software development teams is a plus.

• Over 3 years of relevant industry experience is a significant advantage.
