Banking Systems Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for core banking systems, item processing platforms, loan and deposit applications, as well as customer-facing digital channels, including online banking, mobile banking, ACH processing system (PEP+), remote deposit capture, and positive pay.

• Collaborate with business lines, operations, IT, vendors, and client-facing teams to comprehend business requirements, customer feedback, system challenges, and product opportunities.

• Create, document, and uphold business and functional requirements for system modifications, enhancements, integrations, and product upgrades.

• Ensure accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, changes, test results, and support processes.

• Configure systems and manage routine changes in alignment with operational, compliance, security, and change management standards.

• Organize test planning, test script creation, user acceptance testing, and comprehensive validation for system and product alterations.

• Identify operational, compliance, security, and customer-impact risks, collaborating with business partners to mitigate or address them.

• Lead product management initiatives for customer-facing applications, which include defining product objectives, gathering voice-of-customer insights, maintaining feature backlogs, prioritizing enhancements, and aligning releases with business goals and client impact.

• Assist in the development, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of technologies and tools that boost operational efficiency, usability, adoption, and customer experience.

• Track application performance, usage trends, support themes, and client feedback to uncover improvement opportunities and minimize friction in the digital banking experience.

• Develop process documentation, project materials, training resources, and implementation support documents for end-users and stakeholders.

• Engage in and lead activities across analysis, requirements, design, testing, training, release management, implementation, and post-release support.

• Effectively communicate with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Experience in roles such as business systems administrator, product owner, business analyst, or similar positions within the banking or financial services sector.

• Strong grasp of banking operations, compliance standards, system administration, digital banking applications, and customer-centric product management practices.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and technical troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, release coordination, and process documentation methodologies.

• Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate professionally across teams and vendors.
