Backend Engineer, Nodejs/TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Design and create efficient and secure RESTful APIs for integration with other services.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers.

• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.

• Work with both relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL), ensuring proper integration.

• Optimize the performance and scalability of backend applications.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute improvements to the development process.

• Document code and development processes in a clear and efficient manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar developer role.

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and best practices in API design.

• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Familiarity with the implementation of unit and integration testing (Jest, Mocha, Chai, or similar).

• Knowledge of version control using Git.

• Experience with implementing scalable solutions and performance optimization.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating in a team.

• Proactive attitude towards solving complex problems and generating efficient solutions.

• Clear communication skills in both English and Spanish (if applicable), to collaborate with international teams.

• Attention to detail and the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
