Backend Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Enhance and develop new functionalities for AppMagic, Sensor Tower’s app market intelligence SaaS platform tailored for small to medium-sized businesses.

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, encompassing design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.

• Analyze and consolidate data.

• Design application programming interfaces (APIs).

• Refactor existing code.

• Improve system performance.

• Develop and refine intricate database queries for data evaluation and updates.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Recommend enhancements to tools and workflows.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers on extensive data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Go; candidates with less experience may be considered if they have substantial GitHub contributions and other coding samples.

• Proficient in SQL, specifically with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

• Capable of appropriately utilizing ORMs and writing, debugging, and optimizing complex raw SQL queries.

• Skilled in producing testable, dependable, and maintainable code.

• Product-oriented mindset with a keen eye for product quality.

• Proactive and inquisitive in researching sources and grasping project value.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• Must be able to pass the technical interview in both Russian and English.

• Practical and thoughtful application of AI tools in development.

• Legally permitted to work in Serbia without the need for visa support, now or in the future.

• A resume is mandatory.

• A GitHub profile and a link to a contributed repository must be included in the application.
