Backend Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• As a Junior Backend Engineer, you will develop software utilizing Golang.

• Collaborate on software development projects with international teams.

• Acquire hands-on experience with real-world systems.

• Assist in supporting scalable applications.

• Contribute to initiatives for both startups and well-known global brands.

• Implement coding best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Engage in design, development, testing, and production deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Software Development, ideally with Golang.

• Familiarity with Golang within web development contexts.

• Practical hands-on experience as a Software Developer in at least one real project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of coding best practices, including SOLID principles and TDD.

• Understanding of AWS services.

• Experience in medium to large collaborative teams and cross-functional environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.

• Proficient in English communication skills—high B2 minimum; C1 preferred.

• Must be based in Ecuador.
