Backend Engineer – Go, AI Security Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage production Go services with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and multi-tenancy.

• Create APIs and data models, taking responsibility for service contracts, idempotency, retries, and back-pressure.

• Construct event-driven pipelines and integrations with cloud providers, internal systems, or AI/agent frameworks.

• Ensure service reliability through testing, observability, CI/CD practices, and readiness for production.

• Utilize Python for tooling, testing, migrations, automation, or data workflows.

• Collaborate with AI engineers, security researchers, and product teams on threat models and enforcement strategies.

• Incorporate AI coding assistants into daily development, testing, and debugging workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, including at least 2 years developing production services in Go.

• Senior roles necessitate a minimum of 6 years of overall experience and 3 years specifically in Go.

• In-depth understanding of Go concurrency, networking, and performance, including knowledge of goroutines, channels, context, and profiling.

• Proficient in Python.

• Experience in designing gRPC and REST APIs, working with protobuf, and developing asynchronous/event-driven systems like Kafka or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases within distributed systems.

• Strong testing discipline and meticulous attention to data accuracy.

• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable utilizing modern AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar; this is essential.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote-first, distributed work environment.
