This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing Python.
• Create and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop software across distributed services hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Utilize Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless options on Azure.
• Design, deploy, and oversee cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes.
• Work with Docker in production settings.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team, engaging in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.
• Significant commercial experience in senior-level Python backend development.
• Essential hands-on experience in software development across distributed services in Microsoft Azure.
• Essential practical experience with Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog and serverless functionalities on Azure.
• Essential strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and services.
• Proven experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience in designing and constructing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Practical experience with Docker in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle, or substantial knowledge of other relational databases.
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability, and performance enhancement.
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in Git and collaborative development processes.
• Understanding of security best practices within cloud and backend settings.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate proficiently in English.
• Kubernetes experience is advantageous.
