Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding assignments involving bug fixes, feature enhancements, refactoring, and testing.

• Compose clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and expand unit and integration testing suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios.

• Ensure coherence between specifications, code, and anticipated outputs.

• Create high-quality coding tasks that are realistic for production environments.

• Produce comprehensive and accurate reference implementations.

• Deliver extensive test coverage and validation documentation.

• Offer structured and actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in written English at a professional level.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Proficient with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated capability to debug and work with large, multi-file codebases.

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and managing production migrations.
