Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding assignments that include bug fixes, feature enhancements, refactoring, and testing.

• Compose clear specifications in natural language along with corresponding reference implementations.

• Develop and expand unit and integration test suites.

• Assess peer-generated assignments for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and potential points of failure.

• Ensure that specifications, code, and expected outputs are aligned.

• Generate high-quality coding tasks that are realistic for production environments.

• Produce complete and accurate reference implementations.

• Offer robust test coverage and validation artifacts.

• Provide structured and actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional proficiency in written English.

• 3–7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Proven ability to debug and navigate extensive multi-file codebases.

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Must supply personal tools for work.
