Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding assignments encompassing bug resolution, feature enhancement, code refactoring, and testing.

• Create clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and expand unit and integration test suites.

• Assess peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios.

• Ensure consistency among specifications, code, and anticipated outcomes.

• Formulate and assess realistic software engineering tasks for a top-tier AI Lab.

• Generate high-quality coding tasks that are reflective of production environments.

• Deliver comprehensive and accurate reference implementations.

• Ensure extensive test coverage and provide validation artifacts.

• Offer structured, actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional writing proficiency in English.

• 3–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.

• Must provide own tools.
