Back-End Development Specialist, C#

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within Finanças GB, Grupo Boticário’s B2B digital platform dedicated to financial management for franchisees.

• Spearhead the creation of intricate and business-critical back-end solutions.

• Facilitate the migration and architectural shift from .NET to Node.js/TypeScript, emphasizing performance and maintainability.

• Establish, execute, and evaluate standards for code excellence and automated testing pipelines.

• Act as the primary authority on security, implementing Security by Design and system hardening practices.

• Guarantee corporate compliance and safeguard sensitive transactional information.

• Serve as a technical resource for escalating critical incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing permanent solutions.

• Perform observability analyses, encompassing logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.

• Detect bottlenecks and devise solutions for high-volume workloads and transactional scalability.

• Design distributed microservices architectures, caching strategies, and integration solutions in partnership with Tech Leads and Technical Specialists.

• Recommend and integrate AI and Machine Learning models into the back-end systems.

• Mentor Mid-Level and Senior Developers, disseminating advanced knowledge across various squads.

• Maintain technical and architectural documentation, ensuring it is up to date, comprehensive, and standardized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end software engineering, holding a Senior or Specialist position.

• Proven experience in modernizing and migrating systems from .NET Full Framework to .NET Core and Node.js/TypeScript.

• Solid foundation in C#/.NET with advanced expertise in Node.js/TypeScript.

• Extensive knowledge of MongoDB (NoSQL).

• Familiarity with message brokers and asynchronous messaging, such as RabbitMQ or similar technologies.

• Advanced understanding of Clean Architecture, Ports and Adapters/Hexagonal Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

• Proficient in SOLID principles and object-oriented design methodologies.

• Consistent practice with unit and integration testing.

• Strong proficiency in AWS or GCP and highly scalable distributed microservices architectures.

• Thorough understanding of the OWASP Top 10, system hardening, compliance, and information security audits.

• Experience in resolving bottlenecks, analyzing latency, and optimizing efficiency in transactional settings.

• Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban methodologies and software engineering best practices.

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science, along with integrating intelligent models into back-end systems is a plus.
